Photos having black boxes instead of pics
I have black boxes showing up as my photos instead of the pic. Screenshots show up but that is it. How is this problem fixed? Very frustrating!!!

There are many reasons why you might be seeing black boxes in place of your photos. Please take a look at the possibilities listed below:
- Your internet connection might be weak or missing. Try testing on a cellular connect on your iPhone instead of a Wi-Fi one. Or try a different Wi-Fi network: Connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- The photos could be not downloaded. Try tapping one of the boxes to see if it downloads from iCloud: iCloud Photos
- Your iPhone may need to be restarted: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
- The issue could be related to outdated or beta iOS software. Make sure you are updated to the most recent public iOS release (iOS 16.3): Update your iPhone or iPad.
