I lost my iPad it's off trying to track it

You MIGHT be able to track your iPad for 24 Hrs after turning it “off” using Apple’s offline finding technology …

…. but it involves quite a few “IFs” to be successful.

Regardless - and as previously posted - using FindMy remains your ONLY Apple-provisioned, technical locating method.

Click here for information; in addition, post notices around where it got lost, and if applicable, contact the Lost & Found department of the facility involved.

The Find My service is the only way you or Apple can track it.
