Pages Mail Merge Suppress Blank Address Lines

I'm creating a mail merge letter. My fields, from a Numbers spreadsheet, contain ADDRESS1 and ADDRESS2. The majority of my entries do not have an ADDRESS2 thereby leaving an unsightly blank line in the recipients' addresses. Is there a way to make the merge skip these blank lines altogether?

Following are the merge fields as set up in the merge document:

TITLE FIRSTNAME LASTNAME

ADDRESS1

ADDRESS2

CITY, STATE ZIP

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.1

Hi RCTekkie,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to Pages mail merge to suppress blank address lines. You may want to try to merge not from your main table, but from an auxiliary one embedding formulas which would extract only the useful rows. Essentially, you are extracting the pertinent data out into a fresh Numbers table. Also, this article may have some helpful information regarding a merge: Add, change, or delete a merge field in Pages on Mac.

We hope this helps.

Take care.
