Location Sharing glitch

Our location sharing is working for all members except one. That person can see our location, but we cannot see theirs. All the instructions to invite, accept and turn it on have been sent but this one person cannot be seen even though he is trying to activate this. Any ideas on how to fix this are welcome.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. There are a couple things to check that may get in the way of sharing location.

Are restrictions enabled that could prevent location sharing. You can read about Content and Privacy restrictions here: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support - Allow changes to privacy settings.
Is the iPhone updated to the highest iOS version available for it? This can be checked in Settings > General > About. The most current iOS version is 16.3.
Have you checked to see if location services is enabled on their device? If not, got to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services to check.
