Shazam in Control Center doesn't sync identified songs to Apple Music Shazam in Control Center doesn't sync identified songs to Apple Music. I have synced both, Music Recognition and Shazam, with iCloud and have toggled on "Sync Shazams to Apple Music" in Shazam's settings. When I identify a song with the Shazam app the song is automatically added to Apple Music's "My Shazam Tracks" playlist as intended. However, when I identify a song with the Shazam widget in Control Center the song appears in the Shazam app but is not added to the playlist on Apple Music. The songs are only added to the Apple Music playlist after toggling the "Sync Shazams to Apple Music" setting on and off. I know I can add the songs manually but I wish the process would be automatic like when using the app as it doesn't seem like a difficult problem to fix.

Shazam shortcut doesn’t work Shazam on control center doesn’t recognize songs anymore. Do I have to have the app installed in order for this to work again? I used to be able to identify songs without the app.

Shazam in Control Center won't sync Hello! I have a problem with iPhone control center & Shazam (the integrated one). A few months ago, Shazam got an updated version that automatically adds your recent music I detected via the integrated Shazam in the control center to the main Shazam app. The app is synced with the "My Shazam" playlist in Apple Music. This feature worked great, but it recently stopped working, and I need to add every shazam manually I discover from the control center. The solution I tried is: 1. Update my iPhone & Shazam App 2. Re-connect to Shazam & Apple Music Nothing seems to solve this; it looks like a software bug. Any suggestions? Where can I report that to the Shazam team? iPhone 13 Pro iOS16.1.1 Thanks!

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

There wouldn't be a way to automatically display lyrics for the next song. To see what you can do with lyrics and Shazam, have a look at this page of the user guide: Listen to songs, view lyrics, and watch music videos.

"View lyrics for your identified songs.

You can follow along with time-synced lyrics on a freshly identified song, or view lyrics for any previously identified song.

Note: Lyrics are not available for all songs.

In the Shazam app on iPhone, iPad, or Android, do one of the following:

View time-synced lyrics for a new song: Immediately after you identify a song, tap .
To hide lyrics, tap .
Note: Time-synced lyrics are available only with a current song.
View lyrics for a previous song: Tap a song, then tap ."
