Where is the Fitness + app for iPad Air 2 software version 15.7.3? It is not in the App store. On apple.com it says: "You can also access Apple Fitness+ from your Apple TV with tvOS 14.3 or later and iPad with iPadOS 14.3 or later. How does that work?

It is available in my region, North America. Official Apple Support has said that in order to use Apple Fitness+ on iPad Air 2 running 15.7.3 I need to have an Apple TV. Seems odd and after questioning that response they confirmed. Would not say why you need both devices or what the iPads role is at that point.
