Time, Battery, Signal Too Light to See on Home Screen
Hello—
I’m running the latest iOS on my iPhone 12 Pro and I have not been able to find a way to change the color of the text at the top of the screen. A lot of my images I want to use as wallpapers are very light for the most part. I can’t find a setting anywhere on the phone to change this specific text/info to any color other than white.
I want to clarify that I am NOT talking about the Lock Screen. I am talking about the phone being unlocked and in my hands and I’m just looking at the Home Screen without opening an app.
I just want black or gray text, or even white with a nice “shadow” effect so that I can actually see this info. The Lock Screen time changes to a darker font when using a light wallpaper so I’m assuming the other info I mentioned above can also be changed in the same way?
I have to assume that I’m just overlooking some setting on my iPhone because surely by 2023 Apple will allow its iPhone users to use a light colored wallpaper without rendering the info at the top of the screen basically invisible (time, battery level, Wi-Fi/cell signal)…
Thanks in advance for any help getting this figured out :)
