assistive touch won’t appear on ipad and control center too

it used to be that everytime i would open it after shutting it down, the assistive touch would disappear but i can still go to the settings to toggle it off then on and it would reappear. now, no matter how much i do the same or reset the ipad, the assistive touch just won’t show itself. i don’t even know how to open control center without it because whenever i’d swipe up it would just put me out of the app or pull up a note instead. im on an ipad 5. thank you!

Hey lamemanstuff,

You can turn on AssistiveTouch in a few different ways. Let's try all the methods and see if it helps:

Use AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

•Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch, then turn on AssistiveTouch
•Use "Hey Siri" to say, “Turn on AssistiveTouch”
•Go to Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut, then turn on AssistiveTouch

For additional info and steps, check out the article we provided you above. Let us know how it goes!

Best regards.
