Sent Folder Not Showing Generated Hidden Email Address

I used the hide my email function and confirmed the email address it generated, but when I look in my sent folder, it still appears like it sent from my real email address, which has me wondering if it actually worked. Is the sent folder supposed to show the hidden email address, or will it still show your real one?

Hello KimboSlice34,

This page can help provide some info on replying to an email sent created from Hide My Email: Use Hide My Email in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support

Reply to an email using Hide My Email
When you receive an email sent to one of your unique, random addresses, you can reply using the same address. This allows you to continue the conversation and keep your real email address private. To reply, do the following:
1. Tap the Reply button, then tap Reply.
2. Type your response.

You can tap the From field to view the email address the recipient sees.

If you aren't already using it then using the Apple Mail app may be able to help.

Cheers.
