Unable to pair Apple Watch (series 3)

The Apple logo is continuously showing on my Apple Watch and will not turn on. I have held down both buttons on the side to give it hard restart but it goes back to the Apple logo. Any suggestions on how to fix so I can pair my watch to my phone?

I hadn't updated mine in awhile and recently got an iphone 14, i spent over an hour last night trying to pair it to my phone, it says it updated but just stays on that screen and never goes further than that and then my phone tells me to pair it again......im frustrated.
