Disk not ejected properly problem

Eject"Mac b-u" before disconnecting or turning it off shows up on booting up. I have not used the backup except for automatic preset backup. OS Ventura 13.1. This was not a problem on earlier operating systems.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.1

From what I've seen, this is a fairly common problem and has been a subject of debate on this forum since Ventura was introduced. The only suggestion I've seen that appears to be effective is to avoid letting your Mac go to sleep. There is also some possibility that using your trackpad to wake your MBP might be causing the disconnection. Still, no definitive answer so far. Sorry.
