”Your iCloud storage is full”

I always see a lot of space taken from using Roblox for a bit

I only use my apple device for a little amount of time and I always get this notification that says”your iCloud storage is full” how can I relate to that.

Hey there Silverisgrey,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

To get started, we do want to let you know that the app data from Roblox would be stored directly on your iPad, which would not affect your iCloud storage.

For help with steps on how to check and manage the data that you have stored in iCloud, check out this next link here: Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support

Make more space available in iCloud
If you run out of iCloud storage, your device won’t back up to iCloud, new photos and videos won't upload to iCloud Photos, and iCloud Drive, other iCloud apps, and messages won't stay up to date across your devices. And you also won't be able to send or receive emails with your iCloud email address.

You can free up storage in iCloud by deleting content that you're not using:
- Reduce the size of your iCloud Backup
- Delete photos in iCloud Photos
- Delete folders or files in iCloud Drive
- Delete texts and attachments in Messages
- Delete messages and manage Mail
- Delete voice memos

Before you delete anything, you might want to archive or make copies of the information that you store in iCloud.

We hope that's able to help.

Cheers!

Hey Silverisgrey,

We’re going to ask that you take a look at the following article to help check the space in iCloud - Check your iCloud storage on any device As you mentioned you have an iPad, here is a snippet from the article on where to do that -

Check your iCloud storage on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
The bar graph shows your overall storage usage.
2. Tap Manage Account Storage or Manage Storage for more details.

Below the graph, you see a list of apps and features and how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can tap an app or feature for more information.

Once you’re able to identify what is taking the most space, we may be able to determine where things can be freed up to create more.

Also, the prompt may be coming because your device is attempting to make a backup to iCloud and that can be disabled in Settings > your name > iCloud > iCloud Backup.

Thanks.
