App Privacy Report

I am trying to download my app privacy report but when I click the export button on the upper right hand corner nothing happens I’ve tried clicking it multiple times, turning the phone on and off, exiting the settings app and restarting and nothing happens? Is this a bug?

Hello managerjake,

It sounds like you could be referring to sharing your App Privacy Report. When you tap on the share button on the right, correct? If so, then we'd have to isolate this further. Do you have this sharing issue in other apps or only when doing it in this specific section of the Settings app?

If needed, we'd ensure the iPhone is backed up and up to date: Update your iPhone or iPad

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Hoping to hear back, take care.

Hi

I have slightly different glitch but also related to viewing app privacy report.

I think I am on latest os 16.3.1 and on lockdown mode. With these setting I previously was able to access private report but now it continues to flicker not allowing me to access the report. I tried to take screenshot. After many attempts to close application and reopen and waiting for application to stop flickering it eventually gives access and for unknown reason I see that my report states that my mail app has been contacting hotmail while I do not have a hotmail email. Are there two instances something to be concerned about?

Really would appreciate guidance it’s a bit strange.

Also on unrelated topic while in lockdown mode most buttons and webpages have emojis instead of links but maybe this is just due to the limited functionality? I am not sure but it would bring a huge peace of mind if somebody could confirm if that’s normal. I had some strange emojis is stage places on webpages I am attaching the most decent PG friendly.

Thank you in advance for any comment and advice.
