Can I put downloaded movies from apple to external storage.

Thanks for asking about moving movies to an external.

It may be possible with purchases, check your Media folder. The location can be found in the TV app > Settings > Files.

You can just move the entire library, this way the TV app will play all movies and shows, and keep your library consolidated, and save space on the internal drive: Manage your library in the Apple TV app on Mac

You would just move the library, then point that TV app > Settings > Files location to the correct location.
