Better using Titles or Caption in Photos?

An IOS device shows and allows you to edit Captions. You can't see the Titles.

But an OSX device puts Titles first and puts Captions below.

Why have both Titles and Captions in (Ventura) Photos at all, if my IOS/iPhone/iPad device won't let me see them, nor edit them?

And search is not very useful if I can't see the result field I am searching on in my iPad. (10 years of photos synced in iCloud)

Which one should I use?

iPad Pro, 11-inch, 4th Gen, Wi-Fi

I am doing it as I go. Whenever I add a title to a photo, I am pasting it into the caption as well. I don't title all photos, only the favorites that I want to use in projects, like slideshows, and where I invested a lot of work into editing them.

The titles and captions are not necessarily identical. The titles should be useful to be displayed below the thumbnails, so they should be short. The captions can be longer and contain additional information.
