I have no sound when I use airplay to share content from my iphone (iPhone 12) AND iPad to my LG TV (2018 OLED). I have tried to restart my TV, restart my phone but nothing works. The videos have sound on my phone and the TV has no problem with the sound of any content. Thanks for your insight and replies.

If AirPlay is not working properly, you can try these steps: If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device
For your specific issue, refer to this section:
If you see video but don't hear audio
If you don't hear audio when streaming video from your iOS device or Mac to your Apple TV, make sure that the volume is turned up and not muted on both your iOS device and your television or receiver.
If you're streaming video from an iPhone or iPad, check the Ring/Silent switch. If it's set to silent, you'll see an orange line. Toggle the switch to turn on the ringer.
If the AirPlay function is still not working properly, you'll want to contact Apple for assistance: Get Support
