iPad Fitness+ not syncing with Watch

I tried to use my ipad Fitness+ app for a cycling workout today and it said my Watch (6) needed an update, "Fitness+ is not available with your current version of watchOS on your Apple Watch". Watch is fully up to date on Updates. iPad (7th gen wifi) is up to date. I've tried restarting both, any suggestions?

I ended up calling Apple. I restarted my ipad and the app wouldn't load once trying to open (it was the only app with this problem). So I removed the app, redownloaded it, same problem. Did a hard reset, not luck. Called Apple and we reset the network, no luck, then backed up the ipad and completely wiped it clean. Opened it and synced with phone and loaded the back up, now it works!


Took a couple of hours to trouble shoot, backup and reboot, but app now loads and watch syncs!
