How to enable explicit songs for Apple Music autoplay

Hello,

Out of nowhere, my apple music's auto play only plays non-explicit songs. I've tried disabling screen time AND dolby atmos and this did not fix it, what should I do?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 15

Hi wangelin,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand Apple Music won't autoplay explicit songs. We recommend making sure you don't have any content restrictions set up. This article explains how to check this: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

"You can also prevent the playback of music with explicit content and movies or TV shows with specific ratings. Apps also have ratings that can be configured using content restrictions.

To restrict explicit content and content ratings:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
  2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, then tap Content Restrictions.
  3. Choose the settings that you want for each feature or setting under Allowed Store Content.

Here are the types of content that you can restrict:

  • Music, Podcasts, News, Fitness: Prevent the playback of music, music videos, podcasts, news, and workouts containing explicit content
  • Music Videos: Prevent finding and viewing music videos
  • Music Profiles: Prevent sharing what you're listening to with friends and seeing what they're listening to
  • Movies: Prevent movies with specific ratings
  • TV Shows: Prevent TV shows with specific ratings
  • Books: Prevent content with specific ratings
  • Apps: Prevent apps with specific ratings
  • App Clips: Prevent app clips with specific ratings"

Take care.

I have the same exact issue no restrictions at all even the option is Turned off all together so no restrictions I play explicit Labled songs all the time But auto play refuses to play any Song with the explicit Version it’s more irritating then anything Cause I’m paying Money for Music on Apple instead of Spotify cause I like the feel more but When I can’t even access the music I want properly with no help online and then being pointed to the restrictions as it’s already disabled Even uninstalled and redownloaded Still nothing Even Deleted song downloads and redownloaded them And using auto play still don’t work with explicit songs Idk what to do to change It or help fix it
