Siri: "There's a problem with Apple Music." HomePod not playing any music

Can anyone update me on the fix for this problem which is brand new to me but appears has arisen in the past. Thanks.

We'd first advise making sure the HomePod and iOS device you are using are completely updated to rule out the issue being related to an outdated version of iOS.


  1. Update your iPhone or iPad
  2. Update HomePod


If the issue continues after this, contact Apple Support for a deeper dive.
