MainStage 3 3.3.

Is it possible to reacquire a MainStage 3 version compatible with my MacBook Pro 13" early 2011? I lost a perfectly functioning version when my computer was re-imaged to handle Monterey and the latest MainStage 3 version is apparently not compatible. I lost the time machine back-up for this PC.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

In the event that anyone else needs the same assistance, here is one way to resolve the issue. Being reluctant to use a cracked internet download version, I created a bootable partition to run High Sierra (without disturbing Monterey). Accessing the app store from High Sierra allowed the correct download of Mainstage 3.4.4 to appear - which is apparently the last version that can be installed on an early 2011 MacBook Pro 13" (MacbookPro8,1). I now have it installed on the Monterey side and all appears to be functional.

Instructions for this process can be found here: Use more than one version of macOS on a Mac - Apple Support

Hope this helps.

Re: "The Mac App Store should allow you to download the latest compatible version for your OS and machine. Is that not happening?"

Unfortunately, all that seems to be available to me is the newest version (3.6.3). I was hoping to discover links to previous versions. My early 2011 MacBook Pro is running Monterey 12.6.2 which is a non-supported OS. Maybe this confuses the process, but apparently getting Monterey to run successfully does not guarantee other apps will seamlessly work with the older hardware. Rather than to revert back to High Sierra just to access MainStage 3 and get it to work again , I prefer staying with the newer OS. Monterey has breathed some new life into an older computer.
