In Login Items I have 4 osascript items in Allow in the background

In System Settings > Login Items > Allow in the background – I have (4) osascript items and (1) purge item. What is this? I'm nervous.

I noticed when Ventura was recently updated to 13.2. There were (4) notifications these files were present.

Anyone have the same issue? Or know what these files are?

Hello Todd Rockey,

An osascript is a command to run a script. Since it can be many different apps or programs calling that command, it's not possible to identify which it is just from the information provided. You might want to try disabling those as explained here: Remove login items to resolve startup problems on your Mac.

If a program you've installed needs that file to run as you expect it to, you will see a message from it the next time that action is to take place, most likely.
