Has anyone else had issues with losing sound after upgrading to Monterey 12.6.3 .
Only have airplay sound output options and no option to choose internal speaker.

If your MacBook Pro has Intel processor, resetting NVRAM could solve the audio related issues.
Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
If it doesn't help, contact Apple Support to tell them the circumstance you face with now.

Thank you so much, that did the trick. I knew it was something to do with resetting something just didn't know what :)
monterey 12.6.3 update, lost sound and internal speaker output is gone (Macbook 13" - 2016)
