how to turn off Google background items added

In Ventura 13.1, how do I get rid of the Google notifications about having Google having "added background items"... Comes up multiple times and appears not to care whether I've turned the item ON or OFF in the login items called "Allow in Background"????

Cannot turn off "Background Items Added" Notifications Running Ventura 13.2 and I've been getting "Background Items Added" notifications daily, multiple times. The notification directs me to the Login Items Settings. Even if I switch the app "off" from being able to start upon login I still get these notifications. This only started happening in Ventura. Anyone else getting these annoying notifications. P.S.- why has uninstalling apps gotten harder. I've instilled some of these apps (e.g. Citrix) and still get these notifications and the options are still in my settings! Help!

background items added When will Apple have an update to fix this? This is the most annoying thing. It is big and prominent and it keeps occurring and it doesn't go away on its own. In my research on how to get rid of it, I read an Apple representative state that it is only happening to a small number of users. Really? Please quantify "small numbers."

Delete Chrome and Keystone:

/Applications/Google Chrome.app

Delete all the Google folders, and anything else that starts with com.google... and com.google.keystone... from:

/Library/Application Support

/Library/Caches

/Library/LaunchAgents

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/Preferences

~/Library/Application Support

~/Library/Caches

~/Library/LaunchAgents

~/Library/Preferences

Empty the Trash, and restart your computer.

Use some other browser like Firefox, Brave etc. Google Earth.app might also install the updater so use it via the browser.

Uninstall the software which is noted in that message, or update it so it is compatible with Ventura.

Check in Google Chrome for an Extension for Chrome was installed - maybe without the user even knowing it was installed
