When opening Safari after the 12.6.3 update (including doing the safari update) I get "you can’t open the application “Safari” because this application is not supported on this Mac."
This seems.... odd?
The safari icon is greyed out and has the symbol over it that suggests it is not able to be opened

Try hitting "Shift/command/ and the period (.) button at the same time to reveal hidden folders. Navigate to user/ your personal folder (usually your name)/library/ Delete the "Safari" folder and restart you Mac. macOS will rebuild the Safari folder. I have done this before to fix related problems.

I tried that, and still nothing.
The problem here is that the computer is not recognising Safari as a valid application to run, not the settings are screwed.
I really need to be able to reinstall the latest safari, but that does not seem an option for me
I should add... for some reason I managed to select my old computer, not my current one in the information on this post... I cannot update it to reflect the fact it is a mac mini... (and not running 10.11!)
And...
The good news is the next safari update fixed the problem
