When I say “Hey Siri”, both my iPhone and HomePod answer at the same time. How do I get one to have priority over the other?

Siri on HomePod Mini answers when Im trying to ask Siri on my iPhone to do something specific to my iPhone If I want Siri to set an alarm on my iPhone and I am close to my HomePod Mini, Siri on the HomePod will answer and it will set the alarm on the HomePod. Sometime I set the alarm as a reminder of something in a few hours and I may not even be in the house when I need the alarm to to off. I know I can disable "Hey Siri" on the HomePod but that defeats the whole purpose if I keep haing to tourn it on and off all the time. Is there someway I can force a way to distinguish between them? or some other workaround? Can I turn down the sesitiviy for Siri on the HomePod?

Siri followup questions Hi, I just wanted to ask if the Siri follow up questions also works on homepod mini? It works on iPhones which is great. I dont have to say Hey Siri and it keeps listening to my questions. what about HomePod.?

HomePod in other room answers Hey Siri on phone? If I ask my phone something from my bedroom with Hey Siri, my HomePod mini in my kitchen answers it. How do I stop this from happening. I want the phone to answer.

Turn the phone upside down , then try it again. Once the HomePod answers it will usually work by the last device used. Other than that, there’s no setting to prioritize.
