iCloud contacts when sending mails in Outlook

Hello

I installed iCloud for windows on a new Windows 11 Laptop with Outlook 365 (Version 2212).

Calendars are correctly displayed. On the contacts tab, contacts are also displayed, however in a separate folder titled iCloud, not below the My Contacts folder as on my previous laptop.

Now even by specifying the "Start with contact folders" in the Adressbook-Tools-Options, icloud contacts are not available when sending a new mail.

How to get these contacts usable from within mails ?

Windows, Windows 10

Thanks for your suggestions

Unfortunately I checked all this already previously

But when going once again through all your docuemnts, I now found what was wrong ...

You have to go to the iCloud folder on the People tab, open the properties of the folder and specify explicitly "Show this folder as an email Address Book"

Hello ToGo66,

You came from this resource: If you can’t add iCloud Mail, Contacts, or Calendars to Outlook Which would be the best to follow in this situation.

If you've followed all of those steps and still have issues, did you complete the process of setting up iCloud for Contacts on the PC? You can verify this with these steps: Set up iCloud for Contacts on all your devices

Set up iCloud for Contacts on your Windows computer

See Set up iCloud Mail, Contacts, and Calendar in Outlook on your Windows computer in the iCloud for Windows User Guide.

If you’re having trouble with iCloud contacts in Outlook, see the Apple Support article If you can’t add iCloud Calendars, Mail, or Contacts to Outlook.

In case you have set up iCloud for Contacts on the PC, what happens when you attempt to add a contact to Outlook? Are you receiving any errors or alerts? Does it not allow you to select contacts? That'll help to isolate this further.

Wishing you well, take care.
