Will Apple Watch work with my hearing aids?

I am considering upgrading my Apple Watch to Series 8 with cellular. Two questions. First, will I be able to pair it with my hearing aids the way I do my iPhone? Second, I assume it will have a unique phone number. True? So if so, does that mean when someone calls my iPhone that I won't be able to answer the call on my watch?

Thanks! I just want to be sure I understand. So even though the watch has a separate #, when someone calls my iPhone, I can still answer on my watch like I do now? Not sure how that works, maybe the phone forwards the call to my watch #?

Whether your hearing aids will pair with your Apple Watch, you'd need to check with the hearing aid manufacturer. Do note that many hearing aids don't have microphones, so I've seen people a bit dismayed to learn they can hear a phone call, but not speak to the caller if their hearing aids don't have microphones.

In terms of cellular, yes your watch will have a unique number associated with it if you set up cellular service on the watch (your carrier must support Apple Watch), but if someone calls your iPhone, you can answer the call on your watch, even if your iPhone is not near you.
