What should I do when My wallet becomes detached and I can not find it

My MagSafe leather wallet either accidentally came unattached or was taken off my phone. I went to search for it and found someone had (according to find my phone app) was tossed in a fountain in Cleveland and I was unable to retrieve it. I cancelled my credit card and marked it as lost, now 3 days later it says it can not find my wallet, what should I do next? Deactivate or see if someone calls me that they recovered it.

Hello Tommyfitllc,

Find My would be the only Apple service that would allow you to find or track your lost MagSafe wallet. If the wallet can no longer be located, next steps will be up to you. You won't be able to locate it using Find My once it has been removed.
