Why do I have to pay for my own music on apple music?

I have bought a lot of music from Apple Music and would now like to listen to it on my Android mobile phone.

I am being asked to sign up for apple music, I don't understand that and why pay for something that is paid for once?

Thank you again for your big help, I'm really not confused with this ;-)

I wonder why you don't just tell me what to do and where to find it.

I'm to tired of all this, so I will find another solution or give up.

Hello Spilopbob,

We certainly understand wanting to have that music devices on all devices. iTunes and iTunes Store purchases are available on devices shown in the guide linked below.

iTunes - Apple

The iTunes Store is not available on Android devices. If you would like to sync your iTunes Store purchases to your Android device, you would need to utilize the Apple Music app.

Use Apple Music with your Android devices

If you do not wish to use the Apple Music app and an Apple Music subscription on your Android device, you may want to consult support for Android to learn if there is an option to sync purchased Apple iTunes content to your device.

Cheers!

Hi Spilopbob,

iTunes music purchases can be transferred directly to the Android phone using whatever method the manufacturer provides for getting music onto the device. Check the user guide or with the manufacturer for information on how to do this, and then use the iTunes music folder on your computer for the transfer.

Hope that helps.

Take care.

Hi Spilopbob,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

From our understanding, you're an Apple Music subscriber. When you subscribe to Apple Music, you do not own the music. You can add the music to your music library for as long as you have an active Apple Music subscription. You can download the music to listen to offline when you do not have an internet connection.

However, you do not own the music to listen to without an Apple Music subscription. To listen to Apple Music on a different device, simply sign in to Apple Music with your login for the active subscription and you will be able to listen to the music you have added to your music library and what's available in the Apple Music catalog.

Listen to music and more in the Apple Music app

Regards.
