Watch says timer is not installed

when I say hey siri set a timer for “5 minutes “ she relies there is no timer app installed.

after searching and not finding a reliable answer. I figured out how to fix.

1)press your side button once (not the spin deal) your open apps should come up.

2)swipe to get the red x to close the app. I closed all my apps. But might work if you just close the timer app.

ta-da. You can now tell Siri yo set the time and she does.

hope this helps others.

If the Timer app wasn't responding, you likely could have just closed that app.

You could also try this;

BTW, the "spin deal" is the Digital Crown or just crown for short.
