My phone want let me open my messages
Everytime I try to open my messages it just shows a black screen but when it do pop up it want let me tap and open the message that I want to open

Let's restart your iPhone. Even though this is a simple step, it may be helpful:
"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later
- Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
- Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
- To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? When did you first notice this? What is your exact iOS version? Also, does this happen with all message threads or just certain ones.
