Hi, I was running Big Sur without problems bust as soon as I upgraded to Ventura Garage Band crashes on START UP

The application “GarageBand” can’t be opened.

and a CRASH LOG is generated as soon as I try to open it

Any ideas of what to do next?

IMac 2017 with 40GB of Ram and a Radeon 580 with 8GB of memory, I also have 500GB free on my disk

Any help welcome!

Thank you!

Hello Macvivientes,

The best steps to take for issues with opening GarageBand on macOS can be found here: If GarageBand isn't working on your Mac - Apple Support

You'll find multiple steps here, we recommend following them in sequential order and testing GarageBand again after each step. This will help prevent you from taking any unnecessary additional steps.

Take care!
