Apple TV Remote

I have an A1625(32GB) Apple TV. The remote is fully charge but is very sluggish and mostly non-responsive. The Apple TV works great with iPhone remote app.

Any suggestions?

Apple TV remote We just received the new 4k Apple TV on November 4 and It worked great. But for the past month we started having issues with the remote disconnecting and not working so we put it on the charger but it did not help the problem. starting yesterday the remote will turn up and down the volume on the tv but will not connect to the Apple TV 🥺. The Apple TV works just fine with my iphone remote

Pressing Volume up and back button (tv icon button directly above volume up) simultaneously fixed it.
