Hello Migrove,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want to make sure that we're on the same page and understanding your issue correctly. That way we can try our best to assist you. You mentioned that you’re getting prompted to enter your passcode. Is this the same passcode to unlock your iPhone or are you getting prompted to enter your Apple ID password?
If this issue just started to occur, perhaps you can try to restart your iPhone. This can help refresh things:
Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later
1.) Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2.) Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3.) To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
Also, Apple has just recently released a new iOS update. We do recommend that you install any new updates. New updates usually include fixes for various issues. Just in case, this resource can guide you through the update process: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
