migrating to a smaller hard drive with an external drive?

How do I migrate my iMac to a new Mac mini with a smaller hard drive?


I want to migrate my current iMac (3TB fusion drive with 1TB available) to a new M2 Mac Mini with 128GB internal storage plus an external 2TB SSD drive.

You can not Migrate.


Setup the new Mac using the same user ID and then manually move your User Files to a Mac formatted external drive.
