my mac will not connect to my wifi network.
I am using another machine to write this, so the router and connection are valid and working.
The symbol at the top shows a connection is there.
My anti-virus when it was doing a scan couldn't update virus profile it said there was no internet connection

To confirm, were you able to complete all of these steps? Since this link has the best steps to take for this issue, are you seeing any error messages? Does it show you're connected but nothing will load, or does it not connect at all?
Are you able to test using another network to help isolate?

I have been through the support page you indicated. My internet is working, this is from my windows laptop using my wireless connection and my phone connects ok. when I try to connect to Adobe Creative cloud say's that I'm not connected to the internet.
I ha also tried using my phone as a hotspot with the same result
