menu bar and dock are gone from my extended display

2021 MacBook Pro 14 inch with M1 Pro chip running Monterey 12.4. Menu bar and dock are missing from my extended display (HP 24 mh via HDMI). I have tried all the solutions offered in the various threads for this issue and have had NO JOY! Problem started about 2 weeks ago.

Anyone please, how can I fix this? I am losing my mind. And my productivity.

dock and menu bar keep disappearing on extended display I'm using hdmi 2.1 from my mac to my monitor. previous people have solved this by going system preferences>mission control> untick "displays have separate spaces". This partially solved the problem by bringing back my menu bar but dock is still not there when i try to hover over the area it should be. any suggestions ?

Oversized image on monitor I have a 2020 M1 Mac Mini 13.4.1 with 2 Dell U2415 monitors. Occasionally the screen image is larger than the monitor. I cannot see all of the image. If I do a full screen capture I get the entire image, but what I see on the monitor is either missing the top part of the image or the bottom part of the image. If the top part is missing and I move the cursor to the top of the screen the image shifts and I can see the tool bar. If the tool bar is visible and the bottom of the image is missing and I move the cursor to the bottom the image shifts up and I can no longer see the tool bar. I have my dock on the left edge of the left monitor and set to automatically hide and show. Sometimes most of the dock is missing. See images of the upper right corner of the left monitor and the upper left corner of the right monitor. Note that some of the date on the left monitor shows on the right monitor. Note that the Apple icon is shifted to the right on the right monitor.What is causing this and how do I correct it? It has gotten very annoying.

Apple the Dock is horrible in multiple monitor setup Dock keeps moving back to Mac book pro. I just moved back to Mac at work, Mac Book Pro M2 with a dock and 2 monitors. Why did Apple not think people would use multiple monitors and want it the same every time. This and home the macOS treats multiple monitors are my only complaints but the dock not being on every screen, staying on my main display after restart and not easy to move makes this a horrible journey back to Apple. Is there an app or other way to make Dock behave?

It would be helpful to know what you tried because I imagine we’ll just waste time asking if you did this or that.

Is Displays have separate spaces checked in Mission Control Settings? It’s been a while since I used that, but I think the Menu Bar and Dock only show on the Primary display.
