Thanks for reaching out golfer525,

It sounds like you're trying to set up the Notify When Left Behind feature, but don't see the option available. We can help.

Before we jump in, keep in mind the following:

You can use Notify When Left Behind on an iPhone with iOS 15 or later, iPad with iPadOS 15 or later, Mac with Apple Silicon, and with Find My items. For AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and AirPods (3rd generation), you need an iPhone 12 or later.

As long as you're using compatible devices, you can follow these steps to Set up and use Notify When Left Behind in the Find My app:

Set up Notify When Left Behind

1. On your iPhone, open the Find My app.
2. Tap Devices or Items.
3. Tap a device.
Turn on Notify When Left Behind notifications on iPhone
4. Under Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind. If you don't see Notify When Left Behind, then that device might not be supported.
5. Turn Notify When Left Behind on or off.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
