(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then - What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings  Battery  Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity must have a value of 80% or more for the iPhone to operate normally / efficiently.

How much available free storage space do you have on your iPhone? Check this by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here, you will see the total available storage space on your iPhone. You should maintain at least 8GB - 10GB or more free space on your iPhone to prevent iPhone from freezing and other issues.

When you attempted to erase the iPhone, which exact error message / notification do you see on your iPhone?

Everything looks good from what you have disclosed. One thing to try and that is to backup the iPhone and then erase it and restore it back to factory settings. Once that is done, then you can restore the iPhone from the backup that is created on iCloud or on a computer. If the above is something that you wouldn’t want to undertake, then I recommend that you have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.
