I have a macbook pro 16 2021 . I have a problem with "hey siri", as soon as I activate it, the mac crashes and the siri window closes. Tried to reboot , checked the various settings and everything seems fine . Is it a problem with my mac or is it a bug?

Siri Issues on MacBook Air Siri is acting up on my MacBook Air (Intel Processor, macOS Sonoma 14.4, all software/firmware up to date). Sometimes there is no response to "Hey Siri". Sometimes clicking on the Siri icon will not "wake" Siri. When Siri does respond, sometimes it is with text on the screen and no actual words spoken. Sometimes (well, most often now), when Siri does respond, the last word in the response has a bit of echo sound, like being repeated a few times and fading away. Rebooting sometimes helps partly. Adjusting Siri settings sometimes helps (turning on/off Hey Siri, re-inputting voice commands to "teach" Siri again, etc). But the fixes don't seem to last too long. Responds to Hey Siri for a while, then not. Then the Siri icon will not work again (in dock and along top). I provided Feedback to Apple on this. I am not sure what brought this on, but it has been happening more and more often. Appreciate any insights and guidance on how to fix this. Thanks.

Siri doesn't work on MacBook Air (M1, 2020) I don't know why, but Siri on my MacBook Air M1 (bought two weeks ago) randomly stops working. It just doesn't start when I click on the icon in the menu bar or say "Hey Siri" (having enabled the feature). The only way to make it work again seems to be to reboot the computing and this is very annoying. Is it a bug on MacOS Monterey? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks for the support

Siri popping up on its own in macOS 15.3 For the best few weeks, even before this last software update, Siri has been popping up on its own. I'm not pressing any keys accidentally nor am I activating it's my voice by saying Siri or hey Siri. I've had to completely disabled Siri because it was getting extremely annoying and I can't find anyone else mentioning the same problem on the Internet. Is this happening to anyone else?

You can try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies.

Uninstall any and all third party Antivirus, Cleaners, Optimizers, VPN, speeder uppers....and compare your results

all known to cause issue on the macOS
