Since installing latest update iOS 16.2 on iPhone and iPad the Books app is now totally different from previous app: E.g., cannot change the font in Books; advancing page is different and less certain. Some fonts are faint and previously could be changed to New York or San Francisco which are much bolder and easier to read. And the whole setup of the Books app is modified!

I just got an upgrade and my books are nothing that I recognize
Tapping inside a page of a book should bring up a round-cornered square on bottom right. Tap Themes and Settings to make adjustments to fonts etc.

The skeuomorphic page turn animation has been removed, so that's certainly different. I don't know what you mean by "less certain". There is no way to change that.
