Apple Watch Series 8, iPhone 14 Pro Max, up-to-date.
The weather cities on my watch continually revert to Cupertino and NYC. The cities in the Watch App on my phone are my home town in Maryland and a town in the UK. Yet the watch Weather App reverts to Cupertino and NYC after a short time. On the Watch I manually delete Cupertino and add my home town as the default city, but it doesn't last long. Advice welcome, thanks!

If the weather on your Apple Watch is not working properly, let's isolate this.
First, restart Apple Watch: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
Next, check to make sure you have the latest watchOS: Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support
If the problem persists, unpair and erase: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

And what do we do when we’ve done all the steps and nothing helps?
This did not work for me. Phone is up-to-date, Watch is up-to-date, I’ve restarted both, I’ve set weather to mirror iPhone on the Watch. Nothing works.
Go into the weather app and delete Cupertino. All of a sudden, the locations you had stored are shown.
Weather Reverts to Cupertino
