I have forgotten how to do something and I think few know how to solve it

- approximately two years ago I created a shortcut to a website in safari and then I wanted to place it in the Dock

-Then the icon bothered me and I changed it for one that would call my attention and I would not forget to enter daily.

*the great mystery:

-it upset me in a way that it was on the trash can side and not being able to place it organized between the apps

- The point is that I did it, I don't know how... now I'm trying to do the same and I can't find the way

If anyone knows anything about it I would appreciate your response forever!

Try this… In Automator make a new Application, select Run Applescript and add something like this code…

Put that application in the Applications folder, change its icon, and drag it to the applications area in the Dock…

  1. Open Finder and navigate to Applications
  2. Click the app you’d like to change the icon for and use the keyboard shortcut command + I (or right-click and choose Get Info)
  3. Have an image for the new icon you’d like to use, jpg or png often works best
  4. Drag the image on top of the existing app/folder/doc icon (you may need to enter your Mac’s password)
  5. You may need to close and reopen the app to see the change in the Dock (folders and docs should update immediately)
