Well, you told us nothing about what you tried, what you saw, what worked, what failed, error messages, iOS version, etc., so you asked us to guess all this.
A few possibilities:
- No iCloud space
- No Wi-Fi connection
- Low Power Mode
- Insufficient charge
- No dormant period
