Apple Watch: Waking up Before Alarm

How do I let Apple Watch know when I wake up early? Note that swiping up and turning off sleep focus does not work properly - it will discard sleep data that way. There have been a bunch of other threads and I cannot find an answer. This is extraordinary that there isn’t an answer easily searchable for this.

Sleep alarm only goes off on my apple watch My alarm is only going off on my Apple Watch. I have nightstand mode off and the setting off that pushes alarms and timers to my watch. my alarm still only goes off in a vibrating hepatic on my wrist. It’s frustrating because this doesn’t wake me up . If I don’t wear my watch to bed, it solves the problem, but then I can’t track sleep. This never happened before the sleep/focus schedule came out. Is there a different solution than setting two alarms? I think that’s just dumb and what’s the point of the sleep schedule then?

Apple Watch doesn’t track sleep beyond ‘sleep schedule’ alarm I have sleep schedule turned on from 11:25-8:50am. The past couple days I have slept through turning off the alarm on my watch (w/o touching my phone) well into 10am, today I didn’t wake up til noon. However the sleep app in Health says I woke up at 8:50 each day. I like having sleep focus turn on automatically, but accurate sleep tracking is important to me. Is this working by design? I’d think my lack of movement and low HR should register as sleeping still.
