Why is Apple Weather so much worse than Dark Sky at its weather reports?

Dark sky worked. Right now Apple Weather tells me its clear while rain is pelting my roof. Excuse me? Dark sky was never that far off and regularly warned me, accurately, when rain was about to hit. I don’t understand why Apple replaced a working application with an inferior product. They have the code and rights to a working version. OK rename it, but don’t break it!
