If the cracking and popping sounds are still happening when you connect a Bluetooth speaker too, it's likely not a hardware issue. To help narrow this down, do you notice this happens with a certain application or website? If so, there could be an issue with that application. The first step would be to check for and install available application updates. If the application was installed from a third-party, check their website for updates.
