Siri won’t stop playing what is playing (music or podcast) when I tell her to stop or pause or shut off!!!

We understand that Siri isn't responding when you ask Siri to pause what's playing, correct?

Are you using headphones or is your iPhone connected to another device such as your car when this happens?

If so, do you experience the same behavior if your iPhone isn't connected with any other devices and you attempt to pause via Siri?

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Siri & Search.
3. Tap Siri Responses. 
4. Tap Prefer Spoken Responses to hear Siri speak responses, even when Silent mode is turned on."
