Lockdown mode bug

Hi,

When the lockdown mode is on + the phone is muted and I get an incoming call, the phone can not forward the incoming call notification to the watch.

When the lockdown mode is off, the phone forward the incoming call to the watch normally.

Tested on: Iphone 14 Pro

IOS16.3RC with WATCH OS 9.3RC

and:

IOS16.2 with WATCH OS 9.2

Apple Watch Series 8

Your comments are not helpful, and not even related to the issue. I advise you to read the documentation on the lockdown mode if you have questions about the possible reasons why people use this mode.

Same here. The iPhone does not forward any calls to the Apple Watch when it is in lockdown mode. Also, incoming Walkie Talkie calls are blocked. This clearly is a bug, it took me 4 days to discover that lockdown mode was the cause. None of the 5 Apple geniusses that a talked to came up with this solution, they all wanted me to request for a Apple Watch replacement.

Tested on iPhone 13 Pro, version 9.3 and Apple Watch 7 Pro with version 6.3.

Bugreport submitted.

Lockdown Mode is an optional, extreme protection that’s designed for the very few individuals who, because of who they are or what they do, might be personally targeted by some of the most sophisticated digital threats. Most people are never targeted by attacks of this nature.

If you are in such a situation then contact Apple support or you local law enforcement but don't use it as a nice-to-have feature
