Remove Disk Utility RAID in MacOS Ventura

Cannot figure out how to change a 2-drive RAID-0 back to 2 separate drives in Disk Utility on MacOS Ventura.

Tried a bunch of different suggestions from around the web. Nothing works.

Delete a disk set

When you delete a set, the data recorded on the disks is not deleted. For example, deleting a mirrored RAID set leaves each disk in the set with a copy of all the RAID data. When you delete a concatenated set, all the data is copied to the first disk of the set (as long as the first disk has enough disk space to store the data), resulting in a single volume with all the data.

  1. Back up any important files.
  2. In the Disk Utility app  on your Mac, select the disk set you want to delete in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Delete RAID button. <— THERE IS NO SUCH BUTTON.
  4. Click Delete.
